! Ughhhh unfortunately I was stupid and attempted a beach scene which.. I am obviously not capable of portraying. On top of that I decided to put a magical (Life of Pi inspired lol) paper boat and have the characters interact with it. I am so dissatisfied with this udisgkhugh I also butchered the characters because I worked on them before I had a set realism style and I just dguifhgui I cant

I think the beach scene looks fantastic! The sand is beautifully textured, and I love the rippling in that turquoise water. Portraying gentle ocean waves is quite a challenge, and you nailed it. I can almost smell the salty air and feel the warm sun. Ha ha, what I wouldn't give to be standing next to them right now.
And I have to say, your animals just keep getting better in better, in terms of anatomy, texture, and lighting. I seriously adore the soft waviness of Linan's fur, and that shading is just incredible. I also appreciate all of the little details, like Linan's eye whiskers and the way his fur fluffs slightly over his brand/tattoo. Jeckle looks awesome, too... rats are surprisingly difficult to draw (they have the weirdest anatomy), and you got her spot on.
Plus, I really like the theme. The beach setting is very appropriate in regards to the characters, and I love that it's Life of Pi inspired. It's one of my favourite movies now, so it's lovely to see a bit of a hat tip to it.
Thank you so much! There's literally nothing that I would ever asked to be changed. It's perfect the way it is, and I love it. Consider me one incredibly satisfied customer! In fact, I'm going to be printing out a copy later to hang up on my wall.
